Paganella and the Ski Area
Paganella, the Ski Area, and the Green Mountains of the Trentino
The Paganella ski area is one of the most famous ski areas in the Trentino Dolomites, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and fully serviced by artificial snowmaking systems, ensuring maximum availability at all times. It offers over 50 km of slopes suitable for all levels, from bunny slopes to more challenging routes.
In recent years, the ski area has been chosen as a training ground for the best Alpine ski teams competing for the World Championships. After the US Ski Team with Bode Miller, the Norwegian national team with Aksel Lund Svindal is coming to train here.
The Cristallo Hotel, in addition to being located near one of the return slopes, offers its guests specific services, such as winter equipment storage, the presence of ski or snowboard instructors in the hotel, and agreements with equipment rental facilities, etc.
Andalo isn’t just about alpine skiing; just a short distance from the hotel is the Ice Rink, (open year-round), and the spectacular cross-country skiing trails near the lake. There are also numerous opportunities for snowshoeing and mountaineering, some of which are accompanied by mountain guides.

Andalo Life Park
The Andalo Sports Park
Just a few minutes’ walk from our hotel, the Andalo Sports Park is a large area equipped with sports facilities for both summer and winter activities.
It has a fully equipped “Acqua In” wellness center, including a swimming pool with slides and water games for all ages, a modern ice rink open year-round for skating and ice sports, cross-country skiing, and much more.
For the summer season, numerous playgrounds are available: from the more traditional soccer, volleyball, and basketball courts, to a large area with tennis courts, a rock-climbing wall, and an inflatable playground for the little ones.

The Brenta Dolomites in Trentino
Those who stay at the Hotel Cristallo in Andalo during the summer season will have a wide range of options for enjoying the natural beauty of the Brenta Dolomites and the Paganella mountains.
We offer the “Summer Activity Program,” a selection of guided excursions led by mountain professionals, with varying levels of difficulty:
- FAMILY WALK: suitable for families with children, these are educational excursions designed to explore the area with minimal elevation gain.
- EASY OR MEDIUM DIFFICULTY TREKKING: suitable for hikers and families with children accustomed to hiking. Maximum elevation gain: 400 meters.
- EXPERT TREKKING IN THE DOLOMITES: elevation gain of over 1,000 meters and duration over 8 hours. Suitable for experienced hikers accustomed to mountain hiking.
And for MTB enthusiasts:
- E-BIKE RIDE: easy excursions for those with some experience riding a mountain bike on dirt roads.
There are numerous walking and hiking options, including guided excursions, to experience and discover the natural beauty of our landscape, and numerous options for tackling the trails.
In addition to traditional hikes, learn Nordic walking while accompanied by expert mountain guides.
Many mountain biking and horseback riding outings are possible as well.
In addition to Andalo’s many attractions, you can also explore Lake Molveno, just 5 km from Andalo.
Adults and children can spend a fun day at Forrest Park in Pradel (Molveno).
Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage or sleigh ride to Tana dell’Ermellino.
In Spormaggiore (only 5 km from the hotel), you’ll also find the Wildlife Park, which hosts some typical Alpine fauna, such as brown bears and wolves.
Even the youngest visitors can enjoy a walk in the woods and discover numerous animal species by visiting the Brown Bear Museum in the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.
